Alok Sharma has hosted a parliamentary reception for Intelligent Health, the Reading-based company behind the award-winning physical activity programme Beat the Street. The event was also organised with Natalie Ganpatsingh, founder of Nature Nurture, who works with Intelligent Health.

The Bengali Cultural Society is a local registered charity established in 1982, which works to promote a deeper understanding of Bengali and Indian culture, language and heritage among the public. Alok is proud to be a patron of the Bengali Cultural Society.
