Stepping Stones

We the undersigned call upon Reading Borough Council to deliver urgently on its promise to refurbish 1 Dunsfold Road, Tilehurst, Reading, RG30 4NP and grant Stepping Stones Pre-School a longer term lease over the whole of 1 Dunsfold Road, Tilehurst, Reading, RG30 4NP. There is a waiting list of parents and children locally seeking a pre-school place and expanding the capacity of Stepping Stones Pre-School will make a positive difference in allowing the pre-school to offer more places. Stepping Stones also plans to use the extra space in 1 Dunsfold Road, Tilehurst, Reading, RG30 4NP to create a fully functioning sensory room, which would facilitate pupils with additional needs and disabilities, and to gain access to an accessible toilet and build a nappy changing area. This will again make a positive difference to a wide range of local parents and children.
