On Saturday 15th September, Reading West MP Alok Sharma helped to open a brand new branch of Milano Pizza in Reading. Alok joined Rob Wilson, MP for Reading East, Sumanjit Kakkad, owner of the new Milano Pizza branch, and her family, staff and neighbours of the pizzeria to cut the ribbon and officially open the branch. Following the opening ceremony, Milano Pizza provided a selection of tasty pizzas for the guests to enjoy!

Alok said: “I was delighted to be at the official opening of this new business, which is creating local jobs, and I wish the owners and staff the very best of success for the future.”

Mrs Kakkad said: “We were delighted that Alok could join us for the opening of our second branch of Milano Pizza in this town. Reading is a successful town with a thriving business community and we hope we will have an opportunity to expand and grow in the future creating more local jobs.”
