Conservative Party Leader David Cameron has rescheduled his Cameron Direct public meeting in Reading which was postponed last week due to the road and transport conditions around Reading, combined with the weather.

Mr Cameron will now visit Reading on Thursday 14 January to hold the public meeting, which will take place in west Reading at 5.15pm and is open to local residents.

Alok Sharma, Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for Reading West, said: “I am delighted that David Cameron has managed to reschedule his visit to Reading so quickly and local people will be able to put questions to Mr. Cameron on any issue. Across the country and, also locally, there are real concerns about the economy, the cost of living, the NHS, education, law & order, over-development, the environment and all these, and other issues, can be raised.”

Alok continued: “This event is a unique opportunity to ask the Leader of the Conservative Party face-to-face about his views, personal and political, on the issues that matter for Reading and indeed the country. This is a chance for everyone to have their say.”
