The Sainsbury Singers present a brand new musical “Love Online” this autumn at Leighton Park Theatre.

Love Online is an old-fashioned tale of boy-meets-girl, given a 21st-century, virtual twist. A musical of laptop love and sweet talk, which still winds up with a clinch and a clutch of happy endings. Written by Andy Milburn and Nia Williams, The Sainsbury Singers are delighted to welcome Andy as Musical Director who is very excited about the forthcoming performance of his musical Love Online. “The Sainsbury Singers are a fantastic musical theatre group and have really captured the essence of this comedy musical.”

The production has been cast as usual from within the ranks of the society, with Hannah Wyard taking on her first lead role as Sam opposite Sean Faulkner who plays Joe. Hannah says she is “thrilled” to be given the opportunity to interpret this leading role in a newly written musical. “Andy has created some very catchy tunes and it is a privilege to work with the composer. We are all having a lot of fun rehearsing and are looking forward to show week.”

The Sainsbury Singers return to Leighton Park Theatre from Wednesday 31st October – Saturday 3rd November 2012 with performances starting at 7.30pm.

Tickets start from £8 and are available online at www.ticketsource.co.uk/sainsburysingers
