Alok Sharma, Member of Parliament for Reading West, last Friday visited The National Autistic Society’s Thames Valley School to meet with the students and discuss his role as a Member of Parliament.
Mr Sharma was delighted to meet with the students and talk to them about the work of MPs and Government.
Alok Sharma said: “I was delighted to visit The National Autistic Society’s Thames Valley School and meet the Principal David Stewart and speak to the students. They asked a range of excellent questions including on local matters, Brexit, and Government finances. I very much enjoyed the visit.”
Helen Wood, teacher at The National Autistic Society’s Thames Valley School said: “The students enjoyed Mr Sharma’s visit, it was a brilliant opportunity for them to ask questions relating back to lessons that they had taken part in. The students are looking forward to visiting the Houses of Parliament in the New Year.”
