Alok Sharma, the Member of Parliament for Reading West, has expressed concern at the news that the parent company of River View Care Home in Rodway Road has gone into administration.
Alok is writing to Deloitte, the appointed administrators, to request an urgent meeting to discuss the future of the care home and ensure residents are properly looked after.
Alok Sharma said: “It is of course very concerning to hear that Life Style Care, which owns River View Care Home, have gone into administration. I hope that there will be minimum disruption to residents, however I am seeking an urgent meeting with the administrators to make sure that residents continue to receive high quality care and that they are fully considered in any decisions that are made about the future of the care home.”
Alok continued: “If any of my constituents have any concerns about relatives living in River View Care Home, then I ask them to please contact me by emailing alok.sharma.mp@parliament.uk or call my office on 01189 413 803.”
